- Plug the PowerLink 4 into an AC wall outlet and turn the unit ON using the power switch located on the side.
- Plug the appliance(s) you wish to control into either power cable on the PowerLink 4. Ensure the appliance is turned ON.
- Attach your desired switch(es) using the switch input jacks or by establishing a wireless link with compatible AbleNet wireless switches.
- Press the Mode button to select the desired mode of control.
- Press the connected switch(es) to activate the appliance(s).
Operating Instructions: Modes of Control
The PowerLink 4 offers six distinct modes of control to suit various needs:
- Direct: The appliance remains on only while the switch is activated. Releasing the switch turns the appliance off.
- Latch: The first activation of the switch turns the appliance ON. The second activation turns the appliance OFF.
- Timed Seconds: Allows the appliance to run for a user-defined duration from 1 to 60 seconds with a single switch activation. Use the Plus (+) and Minus (-) buttons to set the time.
- Timed Minutes: Allows the appliance to run for a user-defined duration from 1 to 60 minutes with a single switch activation. Use the Plus (+) and Minus (-) buttons to set the time.
- Count: Similar to Direct mode, but the digital display shows the number of switch activations. Each switch activation will be shown in the display window.
- Two-Switch: To turn the appliance ON, both connected switches must be activated simultaneously. This mode is ideal for applications requiring dual control.
