Operating Instructions

E6B Flight Computer

The E6B Flight Computer, integrated into the watch bezel, is a slide rule mechanism useful for various calculations, including speed, distance, and time. It can also perform multiplication, division, unit conversions, and exchange rate calculations.

To use the E6B, rotate the outer bezel to align the desired values on the inner and outer scales. A dedicated booklet with clear instructions and examples for using the E6B is included with your watch. Please consult this booklet for detailed guidance.

GMT (Zulu Time) Function

The GMT function allows you to track a second time zone in a 24-hour format, often referred to as Zulu Time (Greenwich Mean Time). This is particularly useful for travelers or professionals who need to monitor different time zones simultaneously.

The GMT hand is typically set independently. Refer to the full instruction booklet for specific steps on how to set and utilize the GMT hand on your T22101 watch.

Maintenance and Care

  • Water Resistance: Your watch is water-resistant to 10 ATM (100 meters / 330 feet). This means it is suitable for swimming and snorkeling, but not for scuba diving. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water. Avoid operating the pushers or crown while the watch is wet.
  • Cleaning: Wipe the watch case and crystal with a soft, dry cloth. For the leather strap, avoid prolonged exposure to water, direct sunlight, and harsh chemicals to prevent damage and discoloration.
  • Crystal Care: The mineral crystal with anti-glare coating is designed for durability. However, avoid impacts and abrasive surfaces to prevent scratches.
  • Temperature: Avoid exposing your watch to extreme temperatures (above 60°C / 140°F or below 0°C / 32°F) or sudden temperature changes.
  • Magnetic Fields: Keep the watch away from strong magnetic fields, as these can affect the accuracy of the quartz movement.

Troubleshooting

  • Watch Not Running: Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If the watch still does not run, the battery may need replacement. Contact an authorized service center.
  • Inaccurate Time: Ensure the time is set correctly. Strong magnetic fields can affect accuracy; keep the watch away from such sources. If the issue persists, the movement may require inspection.
  • Chronograph Hands Not Resetting to Zero: This may require a chronograph hand calibration. Refer to your detailed instruction booklet or contact customer support for guidance.
  • E6B Slide Rule Jammed: Ensure the bezel is clean and free of debris. Avoid forcing the bezel if it feels stiff. If it remains jammed, do not attempt to disassemble; seek professional service.
