2. Safety Instructions

Always prioritize safety when operating the sprayer. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the equipment.

  • Read the Manual: Thoroughly read and understand all instructions before operating the sprayer.
  • Protective Gear: Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and protective clothing, especially when handling chemicals.
  • Chemical Compatibility: Ensure that the liquid being sprayed is compatible with the sprayer's materials. This sprayer is oil-resistant, but always verify compatibility for other substances.
  • Maximum Pressure: Do not exceed the maximum operating pressure of 6 Bar (87 PSI). Over-pressurizing can lead to equipment failure and injury.
  • Pressure Release: Always release pressure from the sprayer before opening the tank or performing any maintenance. Use the integrated safety relief valve.
  • Stable Surface: Place the sprayer on a stable, level surface during filling and pressurization.
  • Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the sprayer, especially during operation and when filled with chemicals.
  • Storage: Store the sprayer in a cool, dry, and secure place, out of reach of children.
  • Flammable Liquids: Do not use flammable or corrosive liquids unless explicitly stated as safe by the manufacturer.

3. Product Components

The GLORIA 510 TK Profiline High Performance Sprayer consists of several key components:

4. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to prepare your sprayer for use:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Check for any damage.
  2. Hose and Lance Assembly:
    • Attach the oil-proof hose to the sprayer tank outlet and tighten securely.
    • Connect the brass spray lance to the other end of the hose, ensuring a tight seal.
    • Verify the flat jet nozzle is securely attached to the lance.
  3. Carrying Straps (if applicable): If your model includes carrying straps, attach them to the designated points on the sprayer tank for comfortable transport.
  4. Initial Inspection: Before first use, ensure all connections are tight and there are no visible leaks.

5. Operating Instructions

Operating your GLORIA 510 TK Profiline Sprayer involves filling, pressurizing, and spraying.

  1. Filling the Tank:
    • Ensure the sprayer is depressurized (see step 5.4).
    • Unscrew and remove the pump assembly from the tank.
    • Carefully pour the desired liquid into the tank, observing the maximum fill line (10 liters). Do not overfill.
    • Reinsert the pump assembly and screw it tightly onto the tank, ensuring a good seal.
  2. Building Pressure:
    • Manual Pumping: Pump the handle up and down repeatedly until the pressure gauge indicates the desired operating pressure, up to a maximum of 6 Bar.
    • Compressor Connection: Alternatively, connect an external air compressor to the designated valve. Slowly introduce air until the pressure gauge reaches the desired level, not exceeding 6 Bar. Disconnect the compressor once pressure is achieved.
  3. Spraying:
    • Aim the spray lance at the target area.
    • Press the quick-acting valve on the lance handle to begin spraying. Release to stop.
    • Maintain a consistent distance and movement for even application.

  4. Releasing Pressure: After use, or before opening the tank, always release any remaining pressure. Press the ventilating valve (safety relief valve) until the pressure gauge reads zero.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your sprayer.

  • Cleaning After Use:
    • Empty any remaining liquid from the tank.
    • Rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water.
    • Pump clean water through the hose and lance to flush out any residue.
    • Clean the nozzle and filter (if removable) to prevent blockages.
