1. Introduction
The POOL BLASTER Max HD is a cordless, heavy-duty pool vacuum designed for efficient cleaning of swimming pools, hot tubs, and spas. It operates independently from your pool's filtration system, eliminating the need for hoses or cords. Featuring increased suction power and a 40% larger debris capture chamber compared to standard models, it effectively collects various debris such as acorns, twigs, leaves, dirt, and sand. The lithium-ion battery provides up to 1 hour of run time on a single 4-hour charge, offering convenient push-button operation. It is compatible with any standard telescopic pool pole (not included).

3.2. Charging
- Locate the charging port on the main vacuum unit.
- Connect the provided lithium-ion battery charger to the charging port.
- Plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet.
- Allow the battery to fully charge for approximately 4 hours before first use. The charger typically indicates full charge (e.g., light changes color).
- Do not leave the unit on charge after the battery is fully charged to maximize battery life.

4. Operating Instructions
- Ensure the battery is fully charged.
- Attach the vacuum to a standard telescopic pool pole.
- Press the ON button to start the vacuum.
- Submerge the vacuum completely into the pool or spa.
- Move the vacuum slowly and steadily across the pool floor, walls, and steps to collect debris. Avoid rapid movements that might stir up fine particles.
- The vacuum is designed to run for up to 1 hour on a full charge.
- When removing the vacuum from the water, keep it submerged and remove the pole first. Then, lift the vacuum head first to allow water to drain through the filter, retaining collected debris.
- Press the OFF button to stop the vacuum.

4.1. Versatile Cleaning
The removable 10.5-inch scrub brush vacuum head is ideal for general cleaning. For hard-to-reach areas or smaller spaces like hot tubs, the vacuum head can be detached, allowing for more focused suction.

5. Maintenance
5.1. Cleaning the Filter Bag
- After each use, or when suction power decreases, remove the debris container and filter bag from the main unit.
- Empty any large debris from the filter bag.
- Rinse the filter bag thoroughly with a garden hose to remove fine dirt and particles.
- Ensure the filter bag is completely clean before reinserting it into the debris container.
- Allow the filter bag to air dry completely before storing the unit.

6. Troubleshooting
6.1. Common Issues and Solutions
- Vacuum not turning on or stopped working: Ensure the battery is fully charged. Check the charging port connection for proper contact. If stored over winter, ensure proper charging and storage procedures were followed as per the manual.
- Poor suction or not picking up dirt: Check if the filter bag is full and needs cleaning. A clogged filter significantly reduces suction. Ensure the vacuum head is fully submerged and making good contact with the surface.
- Fine sand/soil grains not collected: The included filter bags (coarse and fine) may not capture the absolute finest particles. An ultra-fine filter (sold separately) might be required for very fine sand or silt.
- Water entering electronics compartment: When turning off the vacuum by opening the water-tight cap, do so carefully to prevent pool water from entering the electronics. Open the cap only enough to stop the motor, then allow the unit to drain and dry before fully opening for recharging. Store with the port open facing downwards to aid drying.
- Difficulty connecting charger: Ensure the charger is correctly aligned and fully inserted into the charging port.
