Before using your Trevi ASP404 for the first time, it is recommended to fully charge the battery.
- Assemble the Charging Base: Connect the power adapter to the charging base, then plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet.

- To turn off the vacuum cleaner, slide the power switch to the "OFF" position.
6.2. Cleaning Solids
- Ensure the filter is clean and properly installed.
- Select the appropriate attachment (e.g., brush for upholstery, crevice tool for tight spaces).
- Turn on the vacuum cleaner and move the nozzle over the area to be cleaned.
- For best results, hold the nozzle close to the surface.
- Do not overfill the dust collector. Empty it regularly as described in the Maintenance section.
6.3. Cleaning Liquids
- Ensure the filter is clean and properly installed.
- Do not use attachments when vacuuming liquids, unless specifically designed for wet pickup.
- Turn on the vacuum cleaner and slowly move the nozzle over the liquid spill.
- Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line indicated on the transparent reservoir. Overfilling can damage the motor.
- Immediately after picking up liquids, turn off the vacuum, empty the reservoir, and clean the filter to prevent odors and mold growth.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your vacuum cleaner.
7.1. Emptying the Dust Collector / Liquid Reservoir
- Ensure the vacuum cleaner is turned off.
- Locate the release button or latch for the dust collector (usually near the nozzle). Press or slide it to detach the transparent dust collector from the main unit.
- Carefully remove the filter from the dust collector.
- Empty the collected solids or pour out the liquids into a suitable receptacle.
- Rinse the dust collector with water if necessary, especially after vacuuming liquids. Ensure it is completely dry before reassembling.
7.2. Cleaning the Filter
The filter should be cleaned after each use, especially after vacuuming fine dust or liquids, to maintain suction power.
- After removing the dust collector, gently tap the filter over a waste bin to dislodge loose debris.
- If heavily soiled, rinse the filter under running water. Do not use detergents or hot water.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting it into the vacuum cleaner. Using a wet filter can damage the motor.
- Replace the filter if it becomes torn or permanently clogged.
7.3. General Cleaning and Storage
- Wipe the exterior of the vacuum cleaner with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Store the vacuum cleaner and its accessories in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Ensure the vacuum is fully charged before storing for extended periods to prolong battery life.
