5.1 Battery Installation

  1. Turn the scale over to access the battery compartment on the underside.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert the included CR2032 lithium metal battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

6.1 Basic Weight Measurement

  1. Place the scale on a hard, flat surface.
  2. Step onto the scale barefoot and stand still, distributing your weight evenly.
  3. The display will show your weight. It will flash a few times and then lock on the final reading.
  4. Step off the scale. The display will remain on for a few seconds before automatically turning off.

6.2 Body Composition Measurement (Body Fat, Water, Muscle Mass)

For accurate body composition readings, ensure your feet are clean, dry, and make direct contact with the metal electrodes on the scale's surface.

  1. Place the scale on a hard, flat surface.
  2. Step onto the scale barefoot and stand still.
  3. The scale will first display your weight.
  4. After a few seconds, the scale will begin to analyze your body composition. The display may show a '0000' or '----' pattern as it processes.
  5. Once the analysis is complete, the scale will cycle through your readings: weight, body fat percentage, body water percentage, and muscle mass percentage.
  6. Step off the scale. The readings will remain on the display for a short period before the scale turns off.

Note: For consistent results, take measurements at the same time of day, preferably in the morning before meals or exercise.
