Setup

Powering the Unit

Your CD player can be powered by two "AA" batteries (not included) or an optional 6V AC adapter (not included).

Battery Installation:

  1. Locate the Battery Compartment on the bottom of the unit.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert two "AA" size batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

AC Adapter (Optional):

If using an AC adapter, plug the adapter into the DC Input Jack on the unit and then into a standard wall outlet. Batteries will be bypassed when an AC adapter is connected.

Connecting Headphones

Plug the stereo headphones into the Headphone Jack on the side of the unit. Ensure the plug is fully inserted for proper audio output.

Operating Instructions

Loading a CD

  1. Slide the ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position.
  2. Press the OPEN button to open the CD compartment lid.
  3. Place a CD (label side up) onto the center spindle. Gently press the CD until it clicks into place.
  4. Close the CD compartment lid firmly until it latches. The display will show the total number of tracks.

Basic Playback

  1. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback. The track number and elapsed time will be displayed.
  2. To pause playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE button again. Press it once more to resume.
  3. To stop playback, press the STOP button.
  4. Adjust the Volume Control to your desired listening level.

Skipping and Searching Tracks

Programming Tracks (24-Track Memory)

  1. With the CD stopped, press the PROGRAM button. The display will show "P01" and flash.
  2. Use the SKIP/SEARCH buttons to select the first track you wish to program.
  3. Press the PROGRAM button again to confirm the selection. The display will advance to "P02".
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add up to 24 tracks to your program.
  5. After programming all desired tracks, press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback of your custom program.
  6. To clear the program, press the STOP button twice.

CD-R / CD-RW Compatibility

This player is compatible with standard audio CDs, as well as CD-R and CD-RW discs. Ensure that CD-R/CD-RW discs are properly finalized for playback.
