1. Introduction

The Denon AVR-1712 is a 7.1 channel A/V Surround Receiver designed to provide high-quality audio and video processing for home theater systems. This receiver supports 3D video signals and offers powerful surround sound capabilities. 3. Connections

3.1 HDMI Connections

The AVR-1712 features six HDMI inputs and one HDMI output. Connect your high-definition devices such as Blu-ray players, game consoles, and set-top boxes to the HDMI inputs. Connect the HDMI output to your television or projector. HDMI v1.4a supports 3D pass-through and Audio Return Channel (ARC).

3.2 Speaker Connections

Connect your speakers to the corresponding terminals on the rear panel. The receiver supports a 7.1 channel configuration. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -) for all speaker connections. The Audyssey MultEQ system will assist in calibrating speaker levels and distances during initial setup.
