Setup
1. Battery Installation
The Sharp SPC500 LCD Alarm Clock operates on two (2) AAA batteries (not included). Ensure correct polarity when inserting the batteries.
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back or bottom of the clock.
- Remove the cover.
- Insert two new AAA batteries, matching the (+) and (-) terminals as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Initial Time Setting
After installing batteries, the display may flash or show a default time. Proceed to set the current time.

Setting the Current Time
- Locate the "TIME SET" button, usually on the back or side of the clock. Press and hold it until the time display begins to flash.

- Backlight: The clock features a backlight on demand. Press the "SNOOZE/LIGHT" button to illuminate the display for a few seconds, allowing you to view the time in low-light conditions.
