The Sharp SPC106X features a clear 1.0" blue LED display, an ultra-thin design, and essential alarm functions including snooze. It is designed for indoor use and operates electrically with battery backup capability.
2. Safety Information
- Power Source: Use only the specified power adapter. Ensure the voltage is compatible with your local power supply.

Controls and Indicators:
- 1.0" Blue LED Display: Shows current time and alarm time.
- PM Indicator: Lights up when the time displayed is PM.
- ALARM Indicator: Lights up when the alarm is set.
- TIME Button: Used to set the current time.
- ALARM Button: Used to set the alarm time.
- HOUR Button: Adjusts the hour for time or alarm settings.

5. Setup
5.1. Power Connection
- Unpack the alarm clock and its power adapter.
- Plug the power adapter into a standard household outlet. The LED display will illuminate.
- (Optional) For battery backup, open the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit and insert 2 AAA batteries (not included). This will preserve time settings during a power outage.
5.2. Setting the Current Time
- Press and hold the TIME button. The hour digits will begin to flash.
- While holding the TIME button, press the HOUR button repeatedly to advance to the correct hour. Observe the PM indicator for correct AM/PM setting.
- While still holding the TIME button, press the MIN button repeatedly to advance to the correct minute.
- Release the TIME button. The time is now set.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Setting the Alarm
- Press and hold the ALARM button. The alarm hour digits will begin to flash.
- While holding the ALARM button, press the HOUR button repeatedly to set the desired alarm hour. Observe the PM indicator.
- While still holding the ALARM button, press the MIN button repeatedly to set the desired alarm minute.
- Release the ALARM button. The alarm time is now set.
6.2. Activating/Deactivating the Alarm
- To activate the alarm, slide the ALARM ON/OFF switch (located on the side) to the "ON" position. The ALARM indicator on the display will light up.
- To deactivate the alarm, slide the ALARM ON/OFF switch to the "OFF" position. The ALARM indicator will turn off.
6.3. Using the Snooze Function
When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE/DIMMER button on top of the clock. The alarm will temporarily pause and sound again after approximately 9 minutes.
6.4. Adjusting Display Brightness (Dimmer)
Press the SNOOZE/DIMMER button (when the alarm is not sounding) to cycle through different brightness levels (High, Low, Off) for the LED display.
6.5. Adjusting Alarm Volume
Slide the LOUD/SOFT switch (located on the side) to select your preferred alarm volume level.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace backup batteries annually or when the display shows signs of dimming during power outages.
- Storage: If storing the clock for an extended period, remove the backup batteries to prevent leakage.
8. Troubleshooting
