4.1 Input Channels

5. Setup

5.1 Power Connection

5.2 Connecting Audio Sources

  1. Microphones: Connect XLR or 1/4" TRS microphone cables to the MIC inputs (Channels 1-2). If using condenser microphones, activate the +48V phantom power switch.
  2. Line-Level Devices: Connect instruments or audio players to the LINE inputs (Channels 3-8) using 1/4" TRS or RCA cables.
  3. USB Drive: Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB port for playback.

5.3 Connecting Output Devices

  1. Main Speakers/Amplifier: Connect the MAIN OUT (L/R) jacks to your powered speakers or amplifier using appropriate cables.
  2. Headphones: Plug your headphones into the PHONES jack.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Operation

  1. Turn on the mixer after all connections are made.
  2. Set all channel LEVEL knobs and the MASTER LEVEL knob to their minimum positions before playing audio.
  3. Gradually increase the TRIM/GAIN for each active microphone channel until the signal indicator lights appropriately without clipping.
  4. Adjust the LEVEL knob for each active channel to achieve a balanced mix.
  5. Slowly raise the MASTER LEVEL knob to the desired overall output volume.
  6. Use the EQ (HIGH, LOW) knobs to fine-tune the tone of each channel.
  7. Adjust the PAN/BAL knob to position the sound within the stereo field.

6.2 Using Internal Effects (FX)

  1. Select an effect using the FX program selector.
  2. Adjust the FX knob on individual channels to send signal to the effects processor.
  3. Use the main FX LEVEL control to adjust the overall volume of the applied effect.

6.3 USB/MP3 Playback and Recording

  1. Playback: Insert a USB drive with MP3 files. Use the USB/MP3 controls (Play/Pause, Prev, Next, Folder) to navigate and play tracks. Adjust the USB/MP3 channel LEVEL knob.
  2. Recording: Press the REC button to start recording the main mix to the inserted USB drive. The recording level can be adjusted. Press REC again to stop.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the mixer's surface. Avoid liquid cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the mixer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
