3. Setup Instructions
Placement
Position the projector on a stable, flat surface or mount it securely. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating. The projector can be placed on a table, ceiling-mounted, or used for rear projection.
Connecting to a Power Source
- Connect the power cord to the projector's power inlet.
- Plug the other end of the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
Connecting Video Sources
The IN116 projector offers multiple input options:
- HDMI: For digital video and audio. Connect an HDMI cable from your source device to the projector's HDMI port.

4. Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off
- To power on, press the Power button on the projector's control panel or the remote control. The power indicator light will illuminate.
- To power off, press the Power button twice. The projector will enter a cooling cycle before shutting down completely.
Selecting an Input Source
Press the Source button on the projector or remote control to cycle through available input sources (HDMI, VGA1, VGA2, Video, S-Video). The projector will automatically detect an active signal.
Adjusting the Image
- Focus: Rotate the focus ring on the projector lens until the image is sharp and clear.
- Zoom: Adjust the zoom ring on the projector lens to change the image size.
- Keystone Correction: If the image appears trapezoidal, use the keystone correction function (usually found in the OSD menu or via dedicated buttons on the remote) to square the image.
- Picture Modes: The projector offers various picture modes (e.g., Presentation, Bright, Movie, Eco Mode). Access these through the OSD menu to optimize image quality for different environments.
Eco Mode

5. Maintenance
Lamp Replacement
The projector lamp has a limited lifespan. When the lamp indicator light illuminates or the image brightness significantly decreases, it's time to replace the lamp. The lamp door is conveniently located on top of the projector for easy access, even when ceiling-mounted.
- Power off the projector and disconnect the power cord.
- Allow the projector to cool down completely (at least 30 minutes).
- Locate and open the lamp door on the top of the projector.
- Carefully remove the old lamp module.
- Install the new lamp module, ensuring it is securely seated.
- Close the lamp door and reconnect the power cord.
- Reset the lamp timer in the projector's OSD menu.
Caution: Projector lamps operate at high temperatures and pressures. Handle with care. In rare cases, lamps can explode. Always wear protective eyewear when replacing a lamp.
