9. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause / Solution |
|---|---|
| Camera does not power on. | Battery may be depleted. Recharge the battery. Ensure battery is inserted correctly. |
| Images are blurry. | Lens may be dirty. Clean the lens. Ensure proper focus before shooting. Check image stabilization settings. |
| Slow reaction time when taking photos. | This model may exhibit a slight delay between pressing the shutter and capturing the image. Anticipate the shot. |
| Poor battery life. | Battery performance can vary. Ensure battery is fully charged. Reduce LCD brightness or turn off GPS when not needed. |
| Water or condensation inside the camera. | Immediately power off the camera and remove the battery. Do not attempt to use it. Contact Olympus customer support. This indicates a breach of the waterproof seal, likely due to improper closure of compartments. |
| GPS not acquiring signal. | Ensure you are in an open area with clear view of the sky. Signal acquisition can take time. |
| Video audio has white noise. | This can be a characteristic of some waterproof cameras due to microphone sealing. Ensure microphone port is clear of debris. If persistent, contact support. |
