7. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene of your shaver.
- Daily Cleaning (Quick Rinse): After each shave, switch off the shaver and rinse the shaving unit under warm running water. You can also open the shaving unit by pressing the release button and rinsing the inside thoroughly. Shake off excess water and let it air dry.
- Thorough Cleaning (Weekly): For a more thorough clean, detach the shaving unit from the shaver body. Disassemble the shaving heads by turning the retaining ring counter-clockwise. Remove the cutters and combs. Clean each part individually under running water. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling.
- Lubrication: Occasionally, you may apply a drop of sewing machine oil or Philips shaver oil to the shaving heads to maintain smooth operation.
- Storage: Store the shaver in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Use the protective cap to prevent damage to the shaving heads.
