3. Installation

3.1 Unpacking

3.2 Cut-out Dimensions

3.3 Gas Connection

• Connect the hob to the gas supply using approved flexible or rigid piping.

• Check for leaks using a soapy water solution; never use an open flame.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Lighting a Burner

1. Place a suitable cooking utensil on the pan support over the desired burner.
2. Push the corresponding control knob down and turn it counter-clockwise to the maximum flame setting (large flame symbol).
3. Hold the knob down for a few seconds (approximately 5-10 seconds) to allow the gas safety device to activate. You will hear a clicking sound from the electronic igniter.
4. Once the flame is stable, release the knob. If the flame extinguishes, repeat the process.
5. Adjust the flame size by turning the knob between the maximum and minimum flame settings (small flame symbol).

4.2 Using the Wok Burner

The central wok burner is designed for high-heat cooking and is ideal for woks or large pots. Use a wok ring (if provided or purchased separately) for optimal stability and heat distribution when using a wok.

4.3 Turning Off a Burner

To turn off a burner, turn the corresponding control knob clockwise until it clicks into the "off" position (dot symbol).

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and efficient operation of your gas hob.

5.1 Daily Cleaning

• Allow the hob to cool completely before cleaning.
• Wipe the stainless steel surface with a soft cloth and mild detergent or a specialized stainless steel cleaner.
• Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals that can scratch the surface.
• Dry the surface thoroughly after cleaning to prevent water spots, especially on stainless steel.

5.2 Burner Components

• Remove the pan supports, burner caps, and burner crowns. These can be washed in warm soapy water.
• Ensure burner ports are clear of food debris. Use a small brush or toothpick if necessary.
• Dry all components thoroughly before reassembling. Incorrect reassembly can affect burner performance.
• Do not clean the ignition electrode or thermocouple with abrasive materials.
