Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your Warwick BC 80 amplifier:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the amplifier from its packaging. Inspect for any signs of damage during transit.
  2. Placement: Place the amplifier on a stable, level surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
  3. Power Connection: Ensure the amplifier's power switch is in the OFF position. Connect the supplied power cord to the amplifier's AC inlet and then to a grounded electrical outlet (230V).
  4. Instrument Connection: Connect your bass guitar to either the ACTIVE or PASSIVE input jack using a high-quality instrument cable.
    • Use the ACTIVE input for instruments with active pickups (higher output).
    • Use the PASSIVE input for instruments with passive pickups (standard output).
  5. Auxiliary Devices (Optional): If using an external audio source (e.g., MP3 player, phone), connect it to the AUX IN jack using a stereo 3.5mm cable.
  6. Headphones (Optional): For silent practice, connect headphones to the HP (Headphone) jack. This will mute the main speaker.
  7. Effects Loop (Optional): To integrate external effects, connect the SEND jack to the input of your effect pedal and the output of your effect pedal to the RETURN jack.
  8. Line Out (Optional): For connecting to a mixing console or recording interface, use the LINE OUT jack.
