  • Handling Media: Always handle slides, negatives, and photos by their edges to avoid fingerprints and dust. Store media in clean, dry conditions before scanning.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the scanner in a clean, dry place, away from dust and direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting

Scanner does not power on:
Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the scanner and a working power outlet. Verify the power button is pressed firmly.
Scanned images are blurry or unclear:
Check that the film, slide, or photo is clean and free from dust or smudges. Ensure the media is correctly inserted into its holder or onto the scanning bed. Clean the scanner's lens and scanning area if necessary.
Colors in scanned images are incorrect:
The scanner has automatic color matching. If colors appear off, try adjusting the exposure control manually. Ensure the original media is not discolored or damaged.
Cannot transfer files to computer:
Ensure the USB cable is properly connected to both the scanner and the computer. Verify that your computer's operating system is compatible (PC: ME, 2000, XP, Vista 32/64, Win 7 32/64; Mac: OS 10.4 and higher). Check if the SD/SDHC card is correctly inserted and recognized by the scanner.
SD/SDHC card not recognized:
Ensure the card is inserted correctly. Try reinserting the card or using a different compatible SD/SDHC card. Format the card if it's new or causing issues (note: formatting will erase all data).
