5. Operating Instructions
Once assembled, follow these steps to operate your pressure washer:
- Prime the Pump: Before starting, ensure the water source is open and allow water to flow through the hose and pressure washer until a steady stream emerges from the nozzle. This removes air from the system.
- Start the Pressure Washer: Aim the nozzle at the surface to be cleaned. Press the trigger to start the motor and begin spraying. The automatic stop system will engage when the trigger is released.
- Adjust Spray Pattern: Rotate the 6-position adjustable nozzle to change the spray pattern as needed for different cleaning tasks.
- Concentrated Jet: For stubborn dirt and small areas.
- Wide Spray: For general cleaning of larger surfaces.
- Watering Spray: For gentle rinsing or watering plants.
- Rotary Jet: For tough, caked-on dirt.
- Maintain Distance: Keep an appropriate distance from the cleaning surface to avoid damage. Test on an inconspicuous area first.
- Cleaning with Detergent: If using the detergent container, ensure it is properly attached. The pressure washer will mix the detergent with water. After applying detergent, rinse the surface thoroughly with clean water.
- Shut Down: Release the trigger, turn off the water supply, and remove the battery pack. Squeeze the trigger briefly to release any remaining pressure in the system.
