Setup
Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the 15.6V Ni-MH battery. Connect the charging adapter to the DC port located at the rear of the vacuum. Plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet. Do not charge the battery at temperatures below 32°F (0°C). A full charge typically takes several hours. Unplug the charger once the battery is fully charged to prolong battery life.
Attaching Accessories
The hand vacuum comes with two primary attachments: the Motorized Brush and the Crevice Tool. To attach either accessory, align the attachment with the vacuum's suction nozzle and push firmly until it clicks into place. The crevice tool simply slides into the opening, while the motorized brush attachment connects using two pins and a blue part that fits into the main opening.

Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off
To turn the vacuum on, slide the power switch located on the handle forward. To turn it off, slide the switch backward.
Using the Motorized Brush Attachment
The motorized brush attachment is ideal for removing pet hair and ground-in dirt from upholstery, carpets, car mats, and seats. The spinning brush effectively agitates and lifts debris for thorough cleaning.

Using the Crevice Tool
The crevice tool provides versatility for reaching tight spaces and corners where the main vacuum or motorized brush cannot fit. It is suitable for direct suction on any surface.

Maintenance
Emptying the Dust Cup
The Shark Pet-Perfect Hand Vacuum features an easy-to-empty, bagless large capacity dust cup. To empty, press the release button located on the top of the vacuum to detach the dust cup assembly. Invert the dust cup over a trash receptacle to dispose of collected debris.

Cleaning the Filter
The vacuum includes a washable foam filter. For optimal performance, regularly clean the filter. After detaching the dust cup, the filter can be easily removed by pulling it out. Rinse the filter under running water until clean. Allow the filter to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting it into the dust cup. Do not operate the vacuum without a dry filter.
