Installation Instructions

Follow these steps to correctly install your new Aqualisa shower hose:

  1. Prepare for Installation: Ensure the main water supply to your shower system is turned off to prevent water leakage during the process.
  2. Remove Old Hose: If replacing an existing hose, grip the old hose firmly and turn the connection nuts at both ends (shower mixer and shower head) in an anticlockwise direction until they loosen. Carefully detach and remove the old hose.
  3. Inspect Connections: Check the connection points on your shower mixer and shower head for any debris or old washers. Clean them if necessary. Ensure new rubber washers are correctly seated within the new hose's connection nuts.
  4. Attach New Hose to Mixer: Take one end of the Aqualisa 235019 shower hose and align it with the outlet on your shower mixer. Turn the connection nut clockwise by hand until it is finger-tight.
  5. Attach New Hose to Shower Head: Take the other end of the shower hose and align it with your shower head. Turn the connection nut clockwise by hand until it is finger-tight.
  6. Tighten Connections: Using an appropriate wrench (do not overtighten), gently tighten both connection nuts a quarter to half turn past finger-tight. Avoid excessive force to prevent damage to the hose or fittings.
  7. Check for Leaks: Turn the main water supply back on. Slowly open your shower mixer and check both ends of the newly installed hose for any signs of water leakage. If leaks occur, gently tighten the connections further until the leak stops.
