2. Safety Information

Always prioritize safety when operating gas appliances. This stove is designed for outdoor use only in well-ventilated areas. Do not operate indoors or in enclosed spaces. Ensure all connections are secure and leak-free before lighting. Keep flammable materials away from the stove during operation.

4. Setup

Follow these steps for initial setup:

  1. Place the stove on a stable, level, non-combustible surface away from any flammable materials.
  2. Open the folding lid. The lid also functions as a three-sided wind screen.
  3. Ensure the burner grates are properly seated over the burners and the stainless steel drip tray is in place.
  4. Connect the propane cylinder adapter to the stove's gas inlet.
  5. Attach a 1 lb propane cylinder to the adapter, ensuring a tight, leak-free connection. Perform a gas leak check as described in the Safety Information section.

5. Operating Instructions

The Everest stove features matchless ignition for convenience.

  1. Ensure the propane cylinder is connected and the gas valve on the cylinder is open.
  2. Turn the desired burner control knob to the 'HIGH' position.
  3. Immediately press the red igniter button located on the front panel. You should hear a click and see the burner ignite. If it does not ignite after a few attempts, turn off the gas, wait 5 minutes, and try again. If still unsuccessful, use a long match or lighter to ignite the burner manually.
  4. Once ignited, adjust the flame intensity by rotating the control knob to achieve the desired heat level, from a gentle simmer to a powerful 20,000 BTU output.
  5. The folding lid provides a 3-sided wind screen, helping to maintain consistent heat distribution and protect the flame from wind.
  6. After cooking, turn the burner control knobs to the 'OFF' position and close the gas valve on the propane cylinder.

6. Maintenance
