3. Setup Instructions
3.1 Unpacking and Initial Cleaning
- Remove all components from the packaging.
- Wash the pitcher body, funnel, and lid with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly. Do not wash the electronic indicator in a dishwasher or immerse it in water.
- Dry all parts completely before assembly.
3.2 Preparing the Bi-Flux Filter Cartridge
- Remove the Bi-Flux filter cartridge from its protective packaging.
- Immerse the filter cartridge completely in cold water for approximately 15 minutes. Gently shake it to remove any air bubbles. This step is crucial for optimal filter performance.
3.3 Assembling the Pitcher
- Insert the prepared Bi-Flux filter cartridge firmly into the opening at the bottom of the funnel/reservoir. Ensure it is securely seated to prevent unfiltered water from bypassing the filter.
- Place the assembled funnel/reservoir into the pitcher body.
- Attach the lid to the pitcher body.
3.4 Initial Filtration Cycles
- Fill the funnel with tap water. Allow the water to filter through completely.
- Discard the first two filtered batches of water. This primes the filter and removes any loose carbon particles.
- The pitcher is now ready for use.
3.5 Setting the Electronic Filter Life Indicator
- Locate the electronic indicator on the lid.
- Press and hold the START button until the display shows 100% or the indicator lights up fully. This resets the timer for a new filter cartridge.
- The indicator will count down the filter's lifespan, typically 30 days or 150 liters, whichever comes first.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Filling the Pitcher
- Lift the quick-fill flap on the lid.
- Place the pitcher under a tap and fill the funnel/reservoir with cold tap water. Do not overfill beyond the maximum fill line.
- Close the quick-fill flap. The water will slowly filter into the main pitcher body.

- The electronic indicator should only be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Do not immerse it in water.
- All parts, except the electronic indicator, are dishwasher safe (top rack recommended).
5.2 Replacing the Filter Cartridge
The Bi-Flux filter cartridge should be replaced every 30 days or after filtering 150 liters of water, whichever comes first. The electronic indicator will alert you when a replacement is due.
- Remove the old filter cartridge from the funnel/reservoir. Dispose of it responsibly.
- Prepare a new Bi-Flux filter cartridge as described in Section 3.2.
- Insert the new filter cartridge into the funnel/reservoir.
