  2. Wash the pitcher body, funnel, and lid with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly. Do not wash the electronic indicator in a dishwasher or immerse it in water.
  3. Dry all parts completely before assembly.

3.2 Preparing the Bi-Flux Filter Cartridge

  1. Remove the Bi-Flux filter cartridge from its protective packaging.
  2. Immerse the filter cartridge completely in cold water for approximately 15 minutes. Gently shake it to remove any air bubbles. This step is crucial for optimal filter performance.

3.3 Assembling the Pitcher

  1. Insert the prepared Bi-Flux filter cartridge firmly into the opening at the bottom of the funnel/reservoir. Ensure it is securely seated to prevent unfiltered water from bypassing the filter.
  2. Place the assembled funnel/reservoir into the pitcher body.
  3. Attach the lid to the pitcher body.

3.4 Initial Filtration Cycles

  1. Fill the funnel with tap water. Allow the water to filter through completely.
  2. Discard the first two filtered batches of water. This primes the filter and removes any loose carbon particles.
  3. The pitcher is now ready for use.

3.5 Setting the Electronic Filter Life Indicator

  1. Locate the electronic indicator on the lid.
  2. Press and hold the START button until the display shows 100% or the indicator lights up fully. This resets the timer for a new filter cartridge.
  3. The indicator will count down the filter's lifespan, typically 30 days or 150 liters, whichever comes first.
