Setup and Installation

Installation Steps:

1. Disconnect Power: Locate the main circuit breaker panel and turn off the power to the light fixture's circuit. Use a voltage tester to confirm that the power is off at the junction box.
2. Remove Old Fixture (if applicable): Carefully remove any existing light fixture, disconnecting its wiring.
3. Attach Mounting Bracket: Secure the new mounting bracket (included) to the junction box on your ceiling using the provided screws.
4. Determine Hanging Height (for Pendant): If installing as a pendant, determine the desired hanging height. The fixture includes an adjustable stem. For rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings, hang the fixture approximately 7 feet from the floor. For higher ceilings, hang approximately 8 feet from the floor.
5. Connect Wiring:
   • Connect the ground wire (usually bare copper or green) from the fixture to the ground wire from the junction box and to the mounting bracket's ground screw.
   • Connect the white (neutral) wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the junction box using a wire nut.
   • Connect the black (hot) wire from the fixture to the black (hot) wire from the junction box using a wire nut.
   • Carefully tuck all excess wires into the junction box, ensuring they are not pinched.
6. Secure Canopy: Raise the canopy to the ceiling and secure it to the mounting bracket with the provided hardware.
7. Install Shades and Bulbs: Carefully place the white microfiber shade and satin etched tempered glass diffuser onto the fixture. Install three E26 light bulbs (not included) into the sockets.
8. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the main circuit breaker panel.
9. Test Fixture: Turn on the light switch to ensure the fixture is working correctly.
