1. Battery Installation

The Woodshop Clock requires one (1) AA battery (not included) for its quartz movement. To install the battery:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert one AA battery, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Setting the Time

After installing the battery, set the time:

  1. Locate the time-setting knob on the back of the clock mechanism.
  2. Gently rotate the knob clockwise or counter-clockwise until the clock hands display the correct time.

3. Placement

For optimal performance and accurate readings from the thermometer and hygrometer, consider the following placement guidelines:

  • Place the clock in a location that is representative of the general temperature and humidity of your woodshop or desired area.
  • Avoid direct sunlight, heat sources (e.g., heaters, vents), or areas with extreme drafts, as these can affect the accuracy of the temperature and humidity readings.
  • Ensure the clock is mounted securely on a wall or placed on a stable surface.
