Setup and Installation
Before you begin, ensure you have the necessary tools: Phillips screwdriver, flathead screwdriver, wire strippers, electrical tape, and safety glasses.

- Wiring Connections:

- Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the junction box using a wire nut.
- Connect the ground wire (bare copper or green) from the fixture to the ground wire from the junction box and to the mounting strap's ground screw.
- Carefully tuck all wires into the junction box.
- Attach Fixture Body: Align the fixture body with the mounting strap and secure it using the decorative nuts or screws provided. Ensure the fixture is flush against the ceiling.
- Install Glass Shade: Carefully place the opal etched glass shade onto the fixture. Secure it in place using the decorative finial at the bottom of the fixture. Do not overtighten.
- Install Bulbs: Screw three (3) standard base bulbs (max 100 watts each) into the sockets.
- Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker or fuse box. Test the light fixture.

Operating Instructions
The Quoizel Taylor TY1716AN Semi-Flush Mount Lamp is operated via a standard wall switch connected to the fixture's electrical circuit.
- To turn the light ON, flip the wall switch to the 'ON' position.
