Setup

1. Charging the Battery

  1. Connect the rapid charger to a standard electrical outlet.
  2. Slide a 12V rechargeable battery onto the charger until it clicks into place.
  3. Allow approximately 30 minutes for a full charge. The charger's indicator light will change to show charging status.
  4. Once charged, remove the battery from the charger. Do not leave batteries on the charger indefinitely.

2. Installing/Removing the Bit

  1. Ensure the impact driver is switched off and the battery is removed before changing bits.
  2. Pull the chuck collar forward to unlock the bit holder.
  3. Insert the desired bit (e.g., the #2 double-ended bit) into the bit holder until it is fully seated.
  4. Release the chuck collar. The bit should be securely held. Gently pull on the bit to confirm it is locked.
  5. To remove, pull the chuck collar forward and pull the bit out.

Operating Instructions

1. Attaching the Battery

  • Align the charged battery with the base of the impact driver.
  • Slide the battery into place until it clicks securely.
  • To remove, press the release button on the battery and slide it off.

2. Powering On/Off and Speed Control

  • To turn the tool ON, press the trigger switch. The tool speed increases as you increase pressure on the trigger.
  • To turn the tool OFF, release the trigger switch.

3. Forward/Reverse Rotation

  • The forward/reverse button is located above the trigger.
  • Push the button to the left for forward rotation (tightening screws).

4. Using the Impact Driver

  • Place the bit onto the head of the screw or bolt.
  • Apply firm, steady pressure to the tool, keeping it aligned with the fastener.
  • Press the trigger to begin driving. The impact mechanism will engage automatically when resistance is met, providing additional torque.
  • Release the trigger once the fastener is tightened to the desired level. Avoid over-tightening.
