Setup

  1. Battery Installation: Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Open the compartment cover and insert the 3 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover securely.
  2. Initial Placement: Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Avoid soft surfaces like carpets or rugs, as they can interfere with accurate readings.
  3. First Use Calibration: For the first use, or if the scale has been moved, gently press down on the center of the scale with your foot until digits appear on the display. Remove your foot and wait for the display to show '0.0' or '0.00'. The scale is now calibrated and ready for use.

Operating Instructions

  1. Step On: Gently step onto the center of the scale with bare feet. Stand still and distribute your weight evenly.
  2. Read Measurement: Your weight will appear on the blue backlit LCD display. The display will hold the reading for a few seconds before automatically turning off.
  3. Automatic Shut-off: The scale features an automatic shut-off function to conserve battery life. It will turn off after a few seconds of inactivity.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Clean the scale platform with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water.
  • Storage: Store the scale in a dry place at room temperature. Avoid extreme temperatures or high humidity.
  • Battery Replacement: If the display shows 'Lo' or becomes dim, replace the batteries with new AAA batteries.
