5.1. Charging Modes
- 12V NORM: Standard 12V lead-acid batteries.
- 12V COLD/AGM: For charging 12V AGM batteries or charging in cold conditions.
- 12V LITHIUM: For 12V lithium-ion batteries with an internal BMS.
- 24V NORM: Standard 24V lead-acid batteries.
- 24V COLD/AGM: For charging 24V AGM batteries or charging in cold conditions.
- 16V: For 16V racing batteries.
- 13.6V SUPPLY: Converts the charger into a 5-amp constant-current, constant-voltage power supply. Useful for maintaining onboard computer memory during battery changes or as a DC power source.
- 12V REPAIR: Advanced repair mode to reverse damaging effects of uncharged batteries.
5.2. Jump Charge Feature
The G26000 includes an integrated engine starter, providing a 30A Jump Charge for 5 minutes to assist in starting deeply discharged batteries. Activate this mode when needed.
5.3. Battery Maintenance

Image: G26000 providing worry-free, zero overcharge maintenance.
The G26000 can remain safely connected 24/7 to maintain batteries without overcharging. Its onboard microcomputer monitors battery activity for safe and efficient charging, automatically minimizing energy consumption.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Disconnect the charger from AC power and the battery before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: Store the charger in a cool, dry place when not in use. Ensure cables are neatly coiled to prevent damage.
- Cable Inspection: Regularly inspect the charging cables and clamps for any signs of damage, wear, or corrosion. Replace if necessary.
7. Troubleshooting
- Charger Not Turning On: Ensure the AC power cord is securely plugged into a live outlet. Check for tripped circuit breakers.
- No Charge Indication: Verify that the battery clamps are correctly connected to the battery terminals (red to positive, black to negative). The G26000 features reverse polarity protection, indicated by an error LED if connected incorrectly.
- Charger Not Sensing Battery (for deeply discharged batteries): If the battery voltage is extremely low (e.g., 0 volts), the charger may not immediately detect it. Try using the Jump Charge feature for 5 minutes to raise the battery voltage, then attempt normal charging. Repeat if necessary.
- Error LED Flashing: The Error LED and Standby LED will flash to indicate specific error conditions. Refer to the user guide for a detailed list of flash codes and their meanings. Common errors include reverse polarity, low-voltage battery, or internal fault.
- Slow Charging: Ensure the correct charging mode is selected for your battery type and voltage. Verify that the battery capacity is within the charger's capabilities (up to 500Ah).
