Setup

1. Connecting to Your TV

  1. Ensure your TV and the Blu-ray player are turned off.
  2. Connect one end of an HDMI cable (not included) to the HDMI OUT port on the rear of the Blu-ray player.
  3. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to an available HDMI input on your TV. Note the HDMI input number (e.g., HDMI 1, HDMI 2).
  4. For audio-only connections, use the Digital Audio Out (Coaxial) or Analog Audio Out (2ch) ports as needed.

2. Connecting to the Network

The DMP-BDT110 is Wi-Fi Ready and includes an Ethernet port for network connectivity.

3. Power Connection

  1. Connect the power cable to the player's power input.
  2. Plug the other end of the power cable into a wall outlet.

4. Initial Setup Wizard

  1. Turn on your TV and select the correct HDMI input.
  2. Turn on the Blu-ray player using the Power button on the unit or remote.
  3. The Initial Setup Wizard will appear on your TV screen. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure language, video output, network settings, and other preferences.

Operating Instructions

Playing Discs

  1. Press the Open/Close button on the player or remote to open the disc tray.
  2. Place a Blu-ray disc, DVD, or CD onto the disc tray with the label side facing up.
  3. Press the Open/Close button again to close the tray.
  4. The player will automatically begin playback or display a disc menu. Use the remote's navigation buttons to select options.

Using Internet Streaming Services (VIERA CAST)

The DMP-BDT110 provides access to various online content via VIERA CAST.

  1. Ensure the player is connected to the internet (wired or with optional Wi-Fi adapter).
  2. Press the VIERA CAST button on the remote control.
  3. Navigate through the VIERA CAST menu using the remote to select services like Netflix, Amazon VOD, YouTube, Pandora, or Twitter.
  4. Follow on-screen prompts to log in or access content.

SKYPE Video Calls

The player supports SKYPE video calls, requiring a compatible webcam (sold separately) connected to a USB port.

  1. Connect a compatible webcam to a USB port on the player.
  2. Press the dedicated SKYPE button on the remote control to access the Skype menu.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your Skype account and make calls.
  4. An incoming ringtone will alert you to calls, even during TV viewing or standby mode (not during Blu-ray Disc playback).
  5. You can record an auto-answering video message onto an SD Memory Card (minimum 512MB, not included) to respond automatically when away. Callers can also leave messages.

Troubleshooting
