4.1 Power Connection

The unit can be powered by AC mains or batteries.

  1. Before connecting the AC power cord, ensure the voltage selector switch (located on the bottom of the unit) is set to the correct voltage for your region (e.g., 120V for North America, 240V for Australia).
  2. Insert the AC power cord into the AC IN jack on the back of the unit.
  3. Plug the other end of the AC power cord into a wall outlet.

For portable use, install batteries.

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the unit.
  2. Insert 8 R20/D size batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
  4. For radio presets backup, install 2 AA batteries in the designated compartment.

  1. Press the CD OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD tray.
  2. Place a CD (CD, CD-R/RW, or MP3 CD) with the label side up on the tray.
  3. Press the CD OPEN/CLOSE button again to close the tray. The unit will read the disc.
  4. Press the CD PLAY/PAUSE (►/▮▮) button to start playback.
  5. Use the SKIP (◀◀/►►) buttons to skip tracks.
  6. Press the STOP (■) button to stop playback.

5.3 Cassette Player/Recorder Operation

  1. Press the TAPE OPEN/EJECT button to open the cassette compartment.
  2. Insert a cassette tape with the open edge facing upwards.
  3. Close the cassette compartment.
  4. Press the PLAY (►) button to start playback.
  5. To record, select the desired source (CD, Radio, Music Port), then press the RECORD (●) button simultaneously with the PLAY (►) button.
  6. Use FAST FORWARD (►►) and REWIND (◀◀) buttons for tape navigation.
  7. Press the STOP (■) button to stop playback or recording.

  1. Press the FM/AM button to select the radio function.
  2. Press the TUNE MODE button to switch between manual and auto tuning.
  3. Use the TUNE +/- buttons to tune to the desired station.
