  • To Turn Off: Press and hold the Power/Unit button (⑂) for approximately 2-3 seconds. The scale also features an automatic shut-off function after approximately 4 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.

6.3. Tare Function (Zeroing)

The Tare function allows you to weigh multiple ingredients consecutively without emptying the container, or to simply subtract the weight of a container.

  1. Place an empty container on the weighing surface. The display will show its weight.
  2. Lightly touch the Tare button (TARE). The display will reset to '0'.
  3. Add the first ingredient to the container. The display will show the weight of the ingredient.
  4. To add another ingredient, touch the Tare button (TARE) again to reset the display to '0', then add the next ingredient.
  5. The scale also supports negative tare, allowing you to remove items and see the subtracted weight.

6.4. Weighing Items

  1. Turn on the scale and ensure the display shows '0'.
  2. Place the item(s) directly onto the weighing surface or in a container (using the Tare function).
  3. Read the weight displayed on the LCD screen. The scale measures in increments of 1 gram (or equivalent in other units) starting from a minimum of approximately 3 grams.

7. Maintenance and Care

7.1. Cleaning

The glass weighing surface is easy to clean. Wipe the scale with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water.

7.2. Battery Replacement

When the battery is low, a low battery indicator (e.g., 'Lo') may appear on the display. Replace the CR2032 battery as described in Section 5.1. Dispose of used batteries responsibly.
