Setup

1. Battery Installation

The clock requires two AA batteries for operation. These are included in the package.

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the clock.
  2. Remove the cover by sliding it downwards or pressing the latch.
  3. Insert two AA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover.

2. Initial Power-On and R-Wave Signal Reception

Upon battery installation, the clock will automatically attempt to receive the R-Wave (radio-controlled) time signal from Fort Collins, Colorado. This process may take several minutes to several hours, depending on your location and environmental conditions.

3. Manual Time and Date Setting (If R-Wave Fails)

If the R-Wave signal cannot be received or if you need to adjust settings manually, follow these steps:

  1. Press and hold the SET button (located on the back) for a few seconds until the display starts flashing.
  2. Use the ADJUST button to change the flashing value (e.g., hour, minute, year, month, day).
  3. Press the SET button again to confirm the setting and move to the next adjustable item.
  4. Repeat until all desired settings are configured.
  5. Press the MODE button to exit the setting mode.

2. Setting and Activating the Alarm

  1. Press the MODE button repeatedly until "ALARM" or an alarm icon appears on the display.
  2. Press and hold the ALARM ON/OFF button until the alarm time starts flashing.
  3. Use the ADJUST button to set the desired alarm hour.
  4. Press ALARM ON/OFF again to confirm the hour and move to minutes.
  5. Use the ADJUST button to set the desired alarm minutes.
  6. Press ALARM ON/OFF to confirm and exit alarm setting.
  7. To activate or deactivate the alarm, press the ALARM ON/OFF button once. An alarm icon will appear on the display when activated.

3. Using the Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button (usually a larger button on the top or front) to temporarily stop the alarm. The alarm will sound again after approximately 5-10 minutes (snooze duration may vary). To turn off the alarm completely, press any other button.

4. Viewing Calendar Information

The clock continuously displays the current date and day of the week. No special action is required to view this information.

Maintenance

1. Battery Replacement

When the display becomes dim or the clock stops functioning, it's time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in the "Setup" section. It is recommended to replace both batteries at the same time with new AA alkaline batteries.

2. Cleaning the Unit
