1. Introduction

The Melitta Cremio 100501 is an electric milk frother designed for convenient preparation of hot and cold milk specialties. It allows you to create perfect milk foam for cappuccinos and lattes, or cold foam for chilled beverages. It can also be used to simply heat milk without frothing.

2. Safety Instructions

5. Setup

6.1. Preparing Hot Milk Foam

1. Insert the whisk attachment designed for frothing into the bottom of the jug.
2. Pour cold milk into the jug. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line for frothing (typically 200 ml).
3. Place the lid securely on the jug.
4. Place the jug onto the power base.
5. Press the red button once. The button will illuminate, and the frothing process will begin.
6. The appliance will automatically switch off when the milk foam is ready.
7. Carefully remove the jug from the base and pour the frothed milk.

6.2. Preparing Cold Milk Foam

1. Insert the whisk attachment designed for frothing into the bottom of the jug.
2. Pour cold milk into the jug. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line for frothing (typically 200 ml).
3. Place the lid securely on the jug.
4. Place the jug onto the power base.
5. Press the blue button once. The button will illuminate, and the frothing process will begin.
6. The appliance will automatically switch off when the cold milk foam is ready.
7. Carefully remove the jug from the base and pour the frothed milk.

6.3. Heating Milk (without Foam)

1. Insert the whisk attachment designed for heating (without frothing) into the bottom of the jug.
2. Pour cold milk into the jug. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line for heating (typically 400 ml).
3. Place the lid securely on the jug.
4. Place the jug onto the power base.
5. Press the red button once. The button will illuminate, and the heating process will begin.
6. The appliance will automatically switch off when the milk is heated.
7. Carefully remove the jug from the base and pour the heated milk.

• Unplug: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.
• Disassemble: Remove the jug from the power base. Take off the lid and remove the whisk attachment.
