Important Safety Instructions

• Read all instructions: Before operating the projector, read and understand all safety and operating instructions.
• Power Source: Connect the projector only to the type of power source indicated on the marking label.
• Ventilation: Do not block any ventilation openings. Ensure adequate airflow around the projector to prevent overheating.
• Heat: Do not place the projector near heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
• Cleaning: Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use a damp cloth for cleaning.
• Water and Moisture: Do not use this product near water (e.g., near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool).

Setup Instructions

1. Unpack the Projector: Carefully remove the projector and all accessories from the packaging.
2. Position the Projector: Place the projector on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for ventilation.
3. Raise the Projection Arm: Gently lift the projection arm from its folded-down position until it locks securely into place. The mirror should be facing the projection screen.
4. Connect Power: Insert the power cord into the projector's power inlet, then plug the other end into a grounded electrical outlet.
5. Prepare for Projection: Place your transparency film onto the 10" x 10" staging area.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Press the power button located on the projector. The projection lamp will illuminate.
2. Focus the Image: Adjust the focus knob (usually located on the projection head or arm) until the image projected onto the screen is clear and sharp.
3. Adjust Image Size/Position: Move the projector closer to or further from the screen to adjust the image size. Adjust the tilt of the projection head/mirror to position the image vertically on the screen.
4. Change Transparencies: Lift the projection head slightly if needed, replace the transparency on the staging area, and lower the head.
5. Power Off: Press the power button again to turn off the projector. Allow the unit to cool down before moving or storing.

Maintenance

Cleaning

• Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Projection Stage: The 10" x 10" staging area and open singlet projection head are designed for easy cleaning. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe away dust or smudges. For stubborn marks, a mild glass cleaner can be applied to the cloth (not directly to the surface).
• Mirror/Lens: Use a lens cleaning cloth and solution specifically designed for optical surfaces.

Lamp Replacement

The projection lamp has a finite lifespan. When the lamp dims significantly or fails, it needs to be replaced.

1. Power Off and Unplug: Ensure the projector is turned off and unplugged from the power outlet.
2. Allow to Cool: Wait at least 30 minutes for the lamp to cool down completely. The lamp can be extremely hot and cause burns.
3. Access Lamp Compartment: Locate the lamp access panel, usually on the bottom or side of the projector. Refer to diagrams in a full manual if available.
4. Remove Old Lamp: Carefully remove the old lamp according to the instructions on the lamp compartment cover. Avoid touching the new lamp's glass with bare hands.
5. Install New Lamp: Insert the new lamp, ensuring it is seated correctly.
6. Close Compartment: Securely close the lamp access panel.
7. Test: Plug in and power on the projector to test the new lamp.
