Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect the clipper and accessories for any signs of damage.
- Initial Blade Preparation: Before first use, apply a few drops of the supplied blade oil to the blades. Turn the clipper on for a few seconds to distribute the oil, then wipe off any excess.
- Attaching Guide Combs: Select the desired guide comb for your preferred hair length. Align the comb with the clipper blades and push it firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely attached before use.
Operating Instructions
- Powering On/Off: Plug the clipper into a suitable power outlet. Use the power switch located on the unit to turn the clipper on or off.
- Selecting Hair Length: Choose the appropriate guide comb based on the desired hair length. The kit includes various sizes to achieve different cutting lengths.
- Hair Cutting Technique: For best results, cut against the direction of hair growth. Move the clipper slowly and steadily through the hair. For blending, use progressively shorter guide combs.
- Taper Lever: The clipper features a taper lever (Figure 3) which allows for fine adjustment of cutting length without changing guide combs. Move the lever up for a closer cut and down for a longer cut.

Maintenance
- Cleaning Blades: After each use, turn off and unplug the clipper. Remove any attached guide combs. Use the cleaning brush to remove loose hairs from the blades. For thorough cleaning, the blades can be removed by unscrewing them (refer to product diagram if available).
- Oiling Blades: Regularly apply a few drops of the supplied blade oil to the blades to ensure smooth operation and prolong blade life. Do not use hair oil, grease, or any solvent.
- Blade Alignment: If the clipper becomes noisy or vibrates excessively, check the blade alignment. Some models feature an adjustment screw on the side to fine-tune the blade's position and reduce noise. Refer to the detailed instructions in the original packaging for specific adjustment procedures.
- Storage: Store the clipper and all accessories in the provided storage case in a dry, cool place.
Troubleshooting
- Clipper is noisy or vibrates: Ensure blades are clean and oiled. Check for proper blade alignment and adjust if necessary using the adjustment screw.
- Clipper pulls or snags hair: This often indicates dull blades, insufficient oiling, or improper cutting technique. Clean and oil blades, ensure proper hair preparation (dry hair is recommended), and use the clipper against the direction of hair growth.
- Clipper not cutting effectively: Verify that the correct guide comb is used and that the blades are clean and oiled. If issues persist, blade alignment may need adjustment or blades may need replacement.
