The Pyle-Pro PDWM2400 system consists of a receiver unit and two wireless microphones, designed for clear audio transmission over UHF frequencies.

4. Setup Instructions

  1. Unpack the System: Carefully remove all components from the carrying case.
  2. Position the Receiver: Place the receiver unit on a stable, flat surface, away from potential sources of interference such as large metal objects, digital devices, or other wireless equipment. Extend the antennas vertically for best reception.
  3. Connect Power: Connect the provided power adapter to the DC 12V-17V input on the receiver unit and plug it into a standard electrical outlet.
  4. Connect to Audio System:
    • For individual microphone outputs, use XLR cables (not included) to connect the receiver's XLR outputs (A and B) to corresponding XLR inputs on your mixer or amplifier.
    • For a combined output, use the supplied 1/4-inch audio cable to connect the receiver's MIX OUT to a 1/4-inch input on your mixer or amplifier.
  5. Install Microphone Batteries: Unscrew the bottom part of each microphone to access the battery compartment. Insert one 9V battery into each microphone, observing correct polarity. Securely reattach the bottom part.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On the Receiver: Press the POWER button on the receiver unit. The POWER indicator light should illuminate.
  2. Power On Microphones: Slide the power switch on each microphone to the 'ON' position. The RF-A and RF-B indicator lights on the receiver should illuminate, indicating a successful wireless connection.
  3. Adjust Volume: Slowly turn up the VOL 1 and VOL 2 knobs on the receiver to the desired level. Adjust the input gain on your mixer or amplifier as needed.
  4. Test Microphones: Speak into each microphone to test the audio output. The AF-A and AF-B indicator lights on the receiver should flicker in response to sound.
  5. Mute Function: Each microphone has a mute switch. Use this to temporarily silence the microphone without turning it off completely.
  6. Power Off: After use, slide the microphone power switches to 'OFF', then press the POWER button on the receiver unit to turn it off.
