The oven is designed for smokeless cooking, preventing grease from contacting the heating element. It also promotes non-carcinogenic cooking by not allowing foods to cook in their own grease. The unit is lightweight and features a timer function for convenience.

4. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials from the oven. Inspect the appliance for any damage. Do not discard packaging until you are satisfied with the product.
  2. Placement: Place the Jet Stream Oven on a stable, heat-resistant, and level surface. Ensure there is adequate clearance around the appliance for proper ventilation. Do not place it directly against a wall or under cabinets.
  3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the interior of the cooking bowl and the cooking rack with a damp cloth. Wash the cooking rack and bowl in warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely. The lid assembly should only be wiped clean with a damp cloth; do not immerse it in water.
  4. Power Connection: Ensure the appliance is unplugged during setup. Once cleaned and assembled, plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

The Jet Stream Oven 2000 is designed for ease of use. Follow these steps for general operation:

  1. Prepare Food: Place your food directly on the cooking rack within the cooking bowl. Ensure food is arranged to allow for even air circulation.
  2. Close Lid: Carefully lower the lid assembly onto the cooking bowl, ensuring it is securely seated.
  3. Set Temperature: Turn the temperature dial to your desired cooking temperature. The oven can reach 350°F in approximately 2 minutes.
  4. Set Timer: Turn the timer dial to the desired cooking time. The oven will begin heating once the timer is set. The appliance will automatically shut off when the timer reaches zero.
  5. Monitor Cooking: The transparent cooking bowl allows you to monitor the cooking process without opening the lid, which helps maintain consistent temperature.
  6. Remove Food: Once cooking is complete and the timer has sounded, carefully lift the lid assembly. Use oven mitts or heat-resistant gloves to remove the cooking rack and food. Be aware of hot steam.

The Jet Stream Oven cooks food on both sides simultaneously, eliminating the need for turning in most cases. It is energy efficient and designed to seal in juices, preventing food from drying out.
