Setup and Installation
Before You Begin
Carefully unpack all components and inspect for any damage. Ensure all parts are present before beginning installation. Refer to the packing list for included items.
Determine your preferred installation method: Wall Mount (surface mount) or Recessed Mount. This cabinet supports both options.

Measure Your Space
Before installation, measure the distance between your overhead lighting and faucet. Also, measure the width of your sink or vanity. The cabinet should not be larger than the overall width of your vanity to ensure proper fit and aesthetics. For surface mount, ensure at least 1.5 inches clearance from the top of the faucet to prevent interference.

Tools Needed
The following tools are generally required for installation:
- Phillips Head Screwdriver
- Power Drill
- Tape Measure
- Stud Finder
- Level
- Pencil
- Mounting Hardware (included, but consider your wall composition)
Additional tools and materials may be required for recessed mount installation, especially if cutting into the wall.

Installation Steps (General)
- Prepare the Wall: Use a stud finder to locate wall studs. For recessed mounting, ensure the rough opening (23.25" W x 29.25" H x 3.9" D) is clear of obstructions like framing, electrical, or plumbing. If cutting a new opening, it is recommended to consult a professional.
- Mark Placement: Mark the center line for the cabinet body across the vanity countertop. For surface mount, mark the placement of the mounting bracket, ensuring adequate clearance from the faucet.
- Install Mounting Brackets: For surface mount, install the mounting bracket at the bottom to support the cabinet. For recessed mount, ensure the wall studs accommodate the rough opening so the cabinet body can mount directly onto the studs.
- Attach Cabinet:
- Surface Mount: Lift the cabinet onto the bottom bracket, ensuring the slot on the cabinet is secure.
- Recessed Mount: Slide the cabinet body into the existing hole. Ensure the body is level and the body flange covers the hole. Screw into the studs using the included mounting screws.
- Install Door: Attach the door by installing the hinges onto the door and then attaching it to the cabinet body. Due to the door's weight, it is recommended to have another person assist with this step.
- Install Shelves: Insert the shelf clips into the desired positions inside the cabinet. Place the adjustable glass shelves onto the clips.
- Final Touches: Install any remaining trim caps.

Operating Instructions
The Zenna Home MRA2430 Medicine Cabinet is designed for simple and convenient daily use.
- Opening the Door: Gently pull the door using the hidden finger pull located on the side of the mirror. The slow-close Euro hinges will allow the door to open smoothly.
- Closing the Door: Gently push the door until it engages with the magnetic closure. The slow-close hinges will ensure a quiet and controlled closing motion, preventing slamming.
- Adjusting Shelves: The three glass shelves are adjustable. To reposition a shelf, carefully remove any items, lift the shelf, and then remove the shelf clips from their current holes. Insert the clips into the desired new holes, ensuring they are level and secure, then place the glass shelf back onto the clips.
- Reversing Door Swing: The door is reversible. If you wish to change the door's swing direction (from left-opening to right-opening or vice-versa), carefully detach the hinges from the cabinet body and the door. Reattach them to the opposite side of the cabinet and door, following the installation instructions in the "Setup and Installation" section.
Maintenance and Care
To ensure the longevity and pristine appearance of your Zenna Home Medicine Cabinet, follow these care guidelines:
- Cleaning the Mirror: Use a soft, lint-free cloth and a non-abrasive glass cleaner. Spray the cleaner onto the cloth, not directly onto the mirror, to avoid liquid seeping into the edges. Wipe gently until clean and streak-free.
- Cleaning the Aluminum Body: Wipe the rustproof aluminum body with a soft, damp cloth. For tougher spots, use a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive pads, which can scratch the finish.
- Cleaning Glass Shelves: The glass shelves can be removed for thorough cleaning. Wash with warm, soapy water or a glass cleaner, then rinse and dry completely before returning them to the cabinet.
- Preventing Moisture Buildup: Although the cabinet is rustproof, excessive moisture can still affect contents. Ensure the bathroom is well-ventilated, especially after showers, to minimize condensation inside the cabinet.
- Hinge Care: The slow-close Euro hinges are designed for durability. If they become stiff or noisy over time, a small amount of silicone-based lubricant can be applied to the moving parts.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Door does not close properly or is misaligned. | Hinges may be loose or out of adjustment. | Check hinge screws and tighten if loose. Adjust the Euro hinges according to manufacturer's instructions (usually involves small adjustment screws on the hinge mechanism) to realign the door. |
| Door slams shut. | Slow-close mechanism on hinges may be faulty or obstructed. | Inspect hinges for any obstructions. If the mechanism is faulty, contact customer support for replacement hinges. |
| Shelves are wobbly or unstable. | Shelf clips not fully inserted or damaged. | Ensure all four shelf clips are fully and securely inserted into the cabinet holes. Replace any damaged clips. Ensure the shelf is properly seated on all clips. |
| Mirror appears cloudy or streaky after cleaning. | Residue from cleaner or improper wiping technique. | Use a clean, lint-free microfiber cloth. Ensure the glass cleaner is ammonia-free. Wipe in one direction, then buff with a dry part of the cloth. Avoid spraying cleaner directly on the mirror. |
