4. Setup

1. Before first use, wash the chopping bowl, lid, and blade in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
2. Place the motor base on a clean, dry, and stable surface. The non-slip feet will help keep it in place.
3. Carefully place the stainless steel chopping blade onto the center post inside the chopping bowl. Ensure it sits securely.
4. Place the chopping bowl onto the motor base, aligning the tabs on the bowl with the slots on the base. Twist gently until it locks into place.
5. Add your ingredients to the chopping bowl. Do not overfill; ensure the lid can close properly.
6. Place the lid onto the chopping bowl, aligning the lid tabs with the bowl and motor base. Twist the lid clockwise until it securely locks into position. The chopper will not operate unless the lid is correctly locked.

5. Operating Instructions

The Rival Mini Chopper features a simple one-touch pulse operation:

1. Ensure the chopper is properly assembled with ingredients inside and the lid securely locked.
2. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
3. Press and hold the pulse button on the motor base to begin chopping.
4. Use short, quick pulses for coarse chopping, or hold for longer durations for finer results. Monitor the consistency of your ingredients through the transparent bowl.
5. Release the pulse button to stop the chopping action.
6. Once desired consistency is achieved, unplug the appliance.
7. Carefully remove the lid by twisting counter-clockwise.
8. Remove the blade assembly before emptying the chopped ingredients. Always handle the blade with extreme caution.

Tip: For best results, process small quantities of food at a time. If ingredients stick to the sides, release the pulse button, unplug, remove the lid, scrape down the sides with a spatula, then replace the lid and continue chopping.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance
