- Food Pusher: Used to guide fruits and vegetables into the feed chute.
- Feed Chute Cover: Secures the filter basket and directs food into the juicing mechanism.
- Filter Basket (Stainless Steel): Contains the cutting blade and mesh filter for separating juice from pulp.
- Juice Collector: Collects the extracted juice and directs it to the spout.
- Pulp Container: Attaches to the side to collect discarded pulp.
- Motor Base: The main unit housing the 700-watt motor and control switch.
Assembly and Setup
Before first use, wash all removable parts (food pusher, feed chute cover, filter basket, juice collector, pulp container) in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Ensure the motor base is unplugged during assembly.
- Place the motor base on a clean, dry, and stable surface.
- Position the juice collector onto the motor base, ensuring the spout aligns with the opening on the base.
- Carefully place the stainless steel filter basket into the juice collector, pressing down firmly until it is securely seated. Ensure it does not wobble.
- Place the feed chute cover over the filter basket and juice collector. Align the locking bar with the grooves on the motor base and push it up until it locks into place with a click. The juicer will not operate if the locking bar is not properly secured.
- Attach the pulp container to the side of the juicer, ensuring it is positioned correctly under the pulp ejection chute.
- Insert the food pusher into the feed chute opening.
- Place a glass or pitcher under the juice spout to collect the juice.
Operating Instructions
The Big Boss Juicer is designed for efficient extraction of juice from fruits and vegetables. It features a powerful 700-watt motor and multiple speeds for various produce types.
Preparing Produce
- Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly.
- For most fruits and vegetables, the wide mouth opening (approximately 3 inches) allows for whole produce to be juiced without pre-cutting. However, larger items like whole apples or beets may need to be cut into smaller pieces to fit comfortably and prevent jamming.
- Remove large seeds (e.g., peaches, plums) and hard pits.
- Remove thick or inedible skins (e.g., citrus fruits, pineapple, melon).
- For leafy greens, roll them into a tight ball before inserting.

Juicing Process
- Ensure the juicer is properly assembled and a glass is placed under the spout.
- Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
- Turn the juicer ON using the control switch. Select the appropriate speed setting (if applicable, for this model it's multi-speed).
- Gradually feed prepared fruits and vegetables into the feed chute. Use the food pusher to gently guide the produce down. Do not force food into the chute, as this can damage the motor or reduce juice yield.
- Allow the juicer to process each piece completely before adding more.
- When finished juicing, turn the appliance OFF and unplug it from the outlet.
Note: The juicer operates at up to 18,000 RPM for efficient juice extraction. Some splashing may occur from the spout; position your glass close to the spout to minimize this.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your juicer. Clean the juicer immediately after each use to prevent pulp from drying and sticking.
Cleaning Steps
- Unplug the juicer from the power outlet.
- Disassemble the juicer by reversing the assembly steps.
- Empty the pulp container.
- Rinse all removable parts (food pusher, feed chute cover, filter basket, juice collector, pulp container) under running water.
- Use a brush (often supplied with juicers) to clean the stainless steel filter basket thoroughly. Pay special attention to the mesh and blades to remove all pulp residue. Be careful, as the blades are sharp.
- Wash these removable parts in warm, soapy water. They are generally dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended for longevity, especially for the filter basket.
- Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
- Dry all parts completely before reassembling or storing.
Storage: Store the assembled juicer in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
Troubleshooting Guide
If you encounter issues with your Big Boss Juicer, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Juicer does not turn on. | Not plugged in; locking bar not secured; power outage. | Ensure power cord is firmly plugged in. Check that the locking bar is fully engaged. Verify power supply. |
| Motor slows down or jams. | Overloading with too much produce; hard produce; filter basket clogged. | Turn off and unplug. Clear any blockages. Cut hard produce into smaller pieces. Clean filter basket if clogged. |
| Excessive pulp in juice or wet pulp. | Filter basket is clogged; soft produce. | Clean the filter basket thoroughly. For soft produce, alternate with harder items or process quickly. |
| Juice splashes from spout. | Glass not positioned correctly; high motor speed. | Place glass closer to the spout. Consider using a lower speed for very watery produce if available. |
| Loud noise or vibration. | Improper assembly; filter basket not seated correctly; hard object in juicer. | Turn off and unplug. Reassemble all parts, ensuring the filter basket is securely seated. Check for foreign objects. |
