1. Introduction

4. Setup

4.1. Installing Batteries

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the presenter.
2. Slide the battery compartment cover open.
3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2. Connecting the USB Receiver

1. The mini-USB receiver is typically stored inside the presenter for convenience. Gently pull it out from its storage slot.
2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer (PC or Mac).
3. Your computer should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers. No additional software installation is required.
4. Once installed, the presenter is ready for use.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Powering On/Off

Locate the ON/OFF switch on the side of the presenter. Slide it to the "ON" position to power on the device. Slide it to the "OFF" position when not in use to conserve battery life.

5.2. Basic Controls

The presenter features intuitive buttons for common presentation functions:

• Forward (▲): Moves to the next slide or advances content.
• Backward (▼): Moves to the previous slide or goes back in content.
• Play/Pause (▶‖): Starts or pauses media playback.
• Volume Up (+): Increases audio volume.
• Volume Down (-): Decreases audio volume.
• Black Screen/Full Screen (◱/◰): Toggles between black screen and full screen mode in presentation software.
• Exit/Stop (■): Exits presentation mode or stops media.
• Mute (🔇): Mutes or unmutes audio.

5.3. Using the Laser Pointer

Press and hold the dedicated laser button (often marked with a star or laser icon) on the side of the presenter to activate the red laser pointer. Release the button to turn off the laser.

Warning: Do not stare directly into the laser beam. Do not point the laser at people or animals. Avoid pointing the laser at reflective surfaces or aircraft.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the presenter with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator (if present) illuminates, or when the presenter's performance degrades. Always use new AAA alkaline batteries.
• Storage: When not in use, store the USB receiver inside the presenter and keep the device in its carrying case to protect it from dust and damage.
