3. Setup

3.1 Initial Setup: Setting Time and Date

Your Fossil Riley watch is equipped with a quartz multifunction movement. To set the time and date:

1. Pull out the crown: Gently pull the crown (the small knob on the side of the watch) to position 2 for time setting.
2. Set the time: Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to move the hour and minute hands to the desired time.
3. Set the date/day: For multifunction dials, refer to the specific instructions for your watch model. Typically, a slight pull or push of the crown to an intermediate position (position 1) allows for quick date/day adjustment. Rotate the crown until the correct date and day are displayed.
4. Push in the crown: Once set, push the crown back into its original position (position 0) to start the watch.

3.2 Adjusting the Bracelet
