1. Introduction

4.1. Control Panel

The control panel features an LCD screen for stitch selection and settings adjustment. It includes buttons for stitch length/width, navigation, and direct access to common stitches. A numerical keypad allows for precise pattern input.

4.2. Threading and Bobbin Area

The machine includes an easy-access flip compartment for the thread spool and bobbin winding mechanism. The automatic needle threader simplifies the threading process.

5. Setup

5.1. Power Connection

Connect the power cord to the machine and then to a suitable electrical outlet. Ensure the machine is placed on a stable, flat surface.

5.2. Bobbin Winding

Place a spool of thread on the spool pin. Follow the indicated path for bobbin winding, ensuring the thread is securely wrapped around the bobbin. The machine features a self-threading bobbin system for convenience.

5.3. Upper Threading

Raise the presser foot and needle. Follow the numbered threading guides on the machine. Utilize the automatic one-touch needle threader to quickly thread the needle.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Stitch Selection

The HZL-F300 offers 106 stitch patterns and 3 fonts. Use the control panel's numerical keypad or navigation buttons to select your desired stitch. The LCD screen will display the selected stitch and recommended presser foot.

6.2. Basic Sewing

Place your fabric under the presser foot. Lower the presser foot. Use the foot pedal or the start/stop button to begin sewing. Adjust the sewing speed using the speed control slider.

6.3. Automatic Buttonholes

The machine includes 16 automatic electronic sensor-controlled buttonholes. Attach the buttonhole presser foot and follow the on-screen instructions for precise buttonhole creation.

6.4. Automatic Thread Cutter

After completing a seam, press the automatic thread cutting button to trim both the upper and bobbin threads simultaneously.

6.5. Quilting Features

The large working space of the HZL-F300 is ideal for quilting projects. The box feed system ensures smooth and even feeding of multiple fabric layers. Consider using an optional wide extension table for even greater workspace.
