Initial Cleaning:
Before first use, wash the removable stoneware inserts and glass lids in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the heating base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the heating base in water or any other liquid.
Placement:
Place the heating base on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or other appliances to ensure proper ventilation.
Assembly:
Place the clean stoneware inserts into the heating wells of the base. Ensure they are seated properly.
Operating Instructions
Prepare Food:
Prepare your desired dishes and place them into the individual stoneware inserts. Do not overfill the inserts.
Place Lids:

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit does not turn on. | Not plugged in; power outlet not working; unit malfunction. | Ensure the unit is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet. Test the outlet with another appliance. If still not working, contact customer support. |
| Food is not heating properly. | Incorrect heat setting; lid not properly seated; overfilled crock. | Check that the individual heat control knob is set to the desired temperature (LOW, HIGH, or WARM). Ensure lids are properly placed. Do not overfill crocks. Allow sufficient time for heating. |
| Food is burning on the bottom. | Heat setting too high; insufficient liquid. | Reduce the heat setting to LOW or WARM. Ensure there is adequate liquid in the crock, especially for dishes that tend to stick. Stir occasionally if possible. |
| Lids do not seal tightly. | This is by design for ventilation. | The glass lids are designed to rest on the crocks and may not form an airtight seal. This is normal operation and allows for steam release. |
