2. Important Safety Instructions

4. Setup and First Use
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and ensure all parts are present.
- Clean: Before first use, wash the removable collection container, freshness lid, and the stainless steel grating roller in warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the main motor unit with a damp cloth.
- Assemble: Insert the clean and dry stainless steel grating roller into its designated slot in the main unit. Ensure it is securely in place.
- Attach Container: Slide the removable collection container into the opening at the front of the grater until it clicks into position.
- Position: Place the grater on a stable, flat, and dry surface.
5. Operating Instructions
- Prepare Food: Cut the food item (e.g., cheese, dry bread) into pieces that fit comfortably into the feeding chute.
- Plug In: Connect the power cord to a suitable electrical outlet.
- Start Grating: Place the food item into the feeding chute. Press and hold the power button (usually located on top or side of the unit) to activate the grating roller.
- Push Food: Gently push the food item down the chute using the provided food pusher. Never use your fingers or other utensils.
- Collect Grated Food: The grated food will fall directly into the removable collection container. You can also grate directly over a plate or bowl by removing the container.
- Stop Grating: Release the power button to stop the motor.
- Remove Container: Once finished, unplug the appliance. Carefully slide out the collection container.
- Store Food: If storing grated food, attach the freshness-saving lid to the collection container and place it in the refrigerator.
6. Cleaning and Maintenance
