2. Setup

2.1 Initial Opening and Electronic Lock Programming

Upon receiving your safe, follow the instructions provided with the electronic lock for initial opening and programming. The safe is equipped with an EMP-rated electronic keypad. You will need to set a Master Code and can program up to 4 additional user codes. Ensure the safe door is open when changing the Master Code.

2.2 Activating the Glass Re-locker

The safe is equipped with a glass re-locker for enhanced burglary protection. This feature is shipped in an inactive state to prevent accidental locking during transit. To activate it, remove the front panel on the inside of the safe door. Locate the safety pin associated with the glass re-locker mechanism and pull it out. This will activate the re-locker, which will engage if the safe is subjected to an unauthorized drilling attempt, locking the safe down.

2.3 Anchoring the Safe

For maximum security, it is highly recommended to anchor the safe to the floor. The safe includes one anchor bolt hole and bolt-down hardware. Position the safe in its desired location, mark the anchor point, drill into the floor, and secure the safe using the provided hardware.

3. Operating the Safe

3.1 Opening the Safe

  1. Enter your programmed code on the electronic keypad.
  2. Once the lock disengages (indicated by a beep or light), turn the tri-spoke handle to retract the bolts.
  3. Pull the door open.

3.2 Closing the Safe

  1. Close the safe door firmly.
  2. Turn the tri-spoke handle to extend the bolts into the safe body. The electronic lock will automatically secure the safe.

The safe features 1.25-inch diameter, 2.25-inch long moving front bolts that engage into the slots of the safe body, providing robust security against forced entry.
