5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the radio.
- Slide or lift the cover to open the compartment.
- Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover securely.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Turning On/Off and Volume Control
- To turn on the radio, rotate the Volume Control knob clockwise. A click indicates the unit is powered on.
- Continue rotating the Volume Control knob to adjust the listening volume.
- To turn off the radio, rotate the Volume Control knob counter-clockwise until it clicks off.
6.2 Selecting a Radio Band (AM/FM)
- Locate the Band Selector Switch (usually on the side or top of the unit).
- Slide the switch to select either "AM" or "FM" band.
6.3 Tuning to a Station
- Once the radio is on and the desired band is selected, slowly rotate the Tuning Dial.
- Observe the Frequency Display to see the current frequency.
- Stop rotating when you hear a clear broadcast.
- For FM reception, extend and adjust the Telescopic Antenna for best signal.
- For AM reception, rotate the entire radio unit for optimal signal reception, as the AM antenna is internal.
6.4 Using Headphones
- Insert a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack into the Headphone Jack on the radio.
- The internal speaker will automatically mute when headphones are connected.
- Adjust the volume using the Volume Control knob.

- Always turn off the radio and remove batteries before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth.
