3. Setup Instructions

  1. Powering the SR45 Receiver:

Connect the universal power supply to the SR45 receiver's power input and then to an appropriate electrical outlet. Press the ON/OFF button on the receiver's front panel to power it on.

  2. Installing Battery in HT45 Transmitter:

Unscrew the lower part of the HT45 handheld transmitter to access the battery compartment. Insert the supplied AA size battery, ensuring correct polarity. Securely reattach the lower part.

  3. Connecting the Receiver to an Audio System:

Use an XLR cable or a 1/4" Jack cable to connect the SR45 receiver's output to your mixer, amplifier, or audio interface. Ensure the audio system is powered off before making connections.

  4. Setting Frequencies:

The system utilizes preset frequency sets for ease of use. Ensure both the SR45 receiver and HT45 transmitter are set to the same channel. The channel number is displayed on both units. Refer to the specifications for available frequency bands.

  5. Adjusting Gain Control (HT45):

The HT45 transmitter features a gain control for adjusting the input volume. This allows for optimal signal level adjustment to prevent distortion. Access this control by unscrewing the lower part of the transmitter.

4. Operating Instructions

  1. Powering On/Off (HT45):

The HT45 handheld transmitter has an ON/OFF/MUTE slide switch. Slide it to the 'ON' position to power on the transmitter. Slide to 'OFF' to power down.

  2. Mute Function (HT45):

To temporarily silence the microphone without powering it off, slide the switch to the 'MUTE' position. This is located between 'ON' and 'OFF'.

  3. Monitoring System Status (SR45):

The SR45 receiver features an RF OK LED (green) which illuminates when a stable radio frequency connection is established with the transmitter. The CLIP LED (red) indicates if the audio signal is too high, potentially causing distortion. Adjust the volume on the receiver or the gain on the transmitter if the CLIP LED frequently illuminates.

  4. Battery Status Indicator (HT45):

The HT45 transmitter includes a battery status indicator. This LED will illuminate red when the battery level is low, signaling that replacement is needed soon.

5. Maintenance

  • Battery Replacement:

Replace the AA battery in the HT45 transmitter when the battery status indicator turns red. Always use fresh, high-quality alkaline batteries for optimal performance and battery life (approximately 8 hours).

  • Cleaning:

Clean the exterior of the receiver and transmitter with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents. The microphone grille can be gently cleaned with a soft brush if necessary.

  • Storage:

When not in use for extended periods, remove the battery from the HT45 transmitter to prevent leakage. Store the system in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6. Troubleshooting

  • No Sound Output:
    • Ensure both the receiver and transmitter are powered on.
    • Verify the transmitter is not in 'MUTE' mode.
    • Check that the receiver's audio output is correctly connected to your audio system.
    • Confirm the receiver and transmitter are set to the same channel.
    • Check the battery in the HT45 transmitter.
  • Static or Signal Dropouts:
    • Ensure the receiver's antenna is unobstructed and positioned for optimal reception.
    • Reduce the distance between the transmitter and receiver.
    • Avoid placing the receiver near other wireless devices, large metal objects, or sources of electromagnetic interference.
    • Check for other active wireless systems operating on the same or adjacent frequencies.
  • Distorted Audio (CLIP LED on):
    • Reduce the gain setting on the HT45 transmitter.
    • Lower the volume control on the SR45 receiver.
  • Delay When Turning On:

The system may experience a brief delay (approximately 4 seconds) for the transmitter to sync with the receiver after being powered on. This is normal operation.
