Setup
1. Charging the Battery
Before initial use, fully charge the supplied Lithium-ion battery pack. Connect the battery charger to a power outlet and insert the battery. The charging indicator will show the charging status. Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.
2. Inserting the Battery and Memory Card
Open the battery/memory card compartment cover on the camera. Insert the charged battery according to the polarity indicators. Insert a compatible SD, SDHC, or SDXC memory card into the designated slot until it clicks into place. Close the compartment cover securely.
3. Initial Power On
Press the power button to turn on the camera. The 3.0-inch TFT wide color LCD will illuminate. Follow any on-screen prompts to set the date, time, and language.
Operating the Camera
1. Taking Photos
To take a photo, select your desired shooting mode (Automatic or Manual) using the mode dial or menu. Frame your shot using the LCD screen. Press the shutter button halfway to focus, then press it fully to capture the image. The camera features a 14 MP photo sensor resolution.

2. Using Zoom
