Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the alarm clock.
- Remove the cover by sliding or lifting it.
- Insert 2 new AA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover securely.
The clock will power on automatically once batteries are inserted. The display may flash, indicating it's ready for time setting.
Operating Instructions
1. Setting the Time
- Slide the Function Switch to the T.SET position. The time digits will start flashing.
- Press the HR button repeatedly to set the hour. Observe the AM/PM indicator for correct 12-hour format.
- Press the MIN button repeatedly to set the minutes.
- Once the desired time is set, slide the Function Switch back to the AL.OFF or AL.ON position to save the time.
2. Setting the Alarm
- Slide the Function Switch to the AL.SET position. The alarm time digits will start flashing.
- Press the HR button repeatedly to set the alarm hour. Observe the AM/PM indicator.
- Press the MIN button repeatedly to set the alarm minutes.
- Once the desired alarm time is set, slide the Function Switch back to the AL.ON position to activate the alarm, or AL.OFF to deactivate it.
3. Activating/Deactivating the Alarm
- To activate the alarm, slide the Function Switch to the AL.ON position. An alarm icon will appear on the display.
- To deactivate the alarm, slide the Function Switch to the AL.OFF position. The alarm icon will disappear.
4. Using the Snooze and Backlight Function
- When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE/LIGHT button on top of the clock to temporarily stop the alarm. The alarm will sound again after approximately 4-5 minutes.
- To activate the blue backlight at any time, press the large SNOOZE/LIGHT button. The backlight will illuminate for a few seconds.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: When the display dims or the alarm function becomes unreliable, replace both AA batteries with new ones. Follow the battery installation steps in the Setup section.
- Storage: If the clock will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
